Mr. Schlumberger founded Coral Reef Capital in 2008 and is responsible for the firm’s management. He serves on the Investment Committees of CRC Resources Fund II LP and CRC Energy Fund LP.
Prior to Coral Reef Capital, he was a Principal at Columbus Nova a private equity and credit manager, from 2003-2008. From 1998-2003, Mr. Schlumberger was an Associate at Triumph Capital, a Boston based private equity firm which managed more than $800 million in capital. Prior to that, he was an investment banking analyst at Smith Barney and an investment professional at the Zilkha & Co. family office.
Mr. Schlumberger currently serves on the board of directors of Shawnee Oil Company, Krewe Energy, Rawhide Mining, Western Exploration, and ROC Service Company.
Mr. Schlumberger received a BA from Yale University and a MBA from The Wharton School.

Mr. Powell joined Coral Reef Capital in 2014 and is a member of the Investment Committees of CRC Resources Fund II LP and CRC Energy Fund LP. Mr. Powell currently serves on the board of directors of Krewe Energy, ROC Service Company, and Rockall Energy.
Prior to Coral Reef Capital, Mr. Powell was a Vice President at Pegasus Capital Advisors, a middle-market investment firm with approximately $2 billion of assets under management, where he sourced, analyzed and structured investments in a variety of industries.
Prior to Pegasus, he was an investment banking analyst at Jefferies & Company.
Mr. Powell received a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Mr. Fainzilberg joined Coral Reef Capital in 2019 as a member of the investment team.
Prior to Coral Reef Capital, Mr. Fainzilberg worked in lower middle market private equity as a Vice President at D Cubed and a Senior Associate at Incline Equity Partners, where he analyzed and executed investments in a variety of industries. Prior to that, he was an associate at Global Infrastructure Partners and an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan
Mr. Fainzilberg received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
